Relaxation and meditation classes on Sundays (new)

The classes are on Sundays from 1900-2015.

Class: We meet for session of centering, stretching, relaxation, breathing, and meditation. We review and practice the three pillars of meditation: posture, relaxation, and breathing. Tibetan Buddhist Shamatha techniques # 1-4 are taught and practiced as well. For more advanced practitioners, Tibetan Vipashyana and Mahamudra are presented.

Facilitator: Manu, PhD, Lama, E-RYT 500, lived in India between 2000 and 2011 and participated in Tibetan Buddhist meditation retreats (Drikung Kagyu Order) in Pithoragarh and Almora, Kumaon Himalayas. He did three-year Tibetan Buddhist retreats for seven years. For four years Manu lived at Swami Rama Sadhaka Grama ashram, Rishikesh, where he worked as the Managing Director of the Meditation Research Institute, practiced and taught yoga/meditation and gave lectures on the Philosophy of Yoga and Meditation. Manu has lectured and taught in Asia, Europe, Africa, North, and South America and has trained dozens of yoga teachers.
